Summary

Upload a PDF to begin

Rotation is applied at the PDF metadata level using pdf-lib — no re-rendering. The "All" buttons in the header let you set all pages at once.

Per-page or bulk rotation

Each page has its own set of rotation buttons (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°). Use the "All" buttons at the top of the page list to set every page to the same rotation instantly. You can mix rotations — for example rotating only the first page while leaving the rest unchanged.

Lossless rotation explained

PDF rotation is stored as a metadata value in each page dictionary, not by physically transforming the content. This tool uses pdf-lib to update only that value — meaning the PDF's text, images, and vector graphics are untouched. File size barely changes.

Common use cases

  • Scanned documents that are sideways or upside down
  • PDFs exported from phone apps in portrait when landscape is needed
  • Correcting individual pages mixed with the wrong orientation
