Why convert PDF pages to images?

Converting PDF pages to JPG is useful when you need to embed document content into presentations, social media posts, web pages, or apps that don't support PDF. It's also helpful for extracting specific diagrams, charts, or images embedded in PDF documents.

Resolution and image quality

  • — 72 DPI equivalent (screen quality). Small files, fast rendering.
  • 1.5× — Good for web use, balanced size and quality.
  • — 144 DPI. Recommended for most uses. Clear text, good detail.
  • — 216 DPI. Suitable for printing. Larger files.

Limitations

This tool uses PDF.js, which handles most standard PDFs. Limitations include: password-protected PDFs are not supported, some custom embedded fonts may not render correctly, and very large PDFs (100+ pages) may be slow to process. For professional-grade conversion, specialized desktop software may give better results.
