When to use rotate vs. flip
Use rotation (90°/180°/270°) when a photo was taken in the wrong orientation. Use horizontal flip to create a mirror image — common for product photos, portrait symmetry checks, or reversing screenshots. Vertical flip is less common but useful for creating reflection effects.
