Pixel mode vs. percentage mode

Pixel mode lets you set exact output dimensions — ideal when you need a specific canvas size like 1200×630 for social media. Percentage mode scales the image relative to its original size, useful when you want to halve or double the resolution.

Why aspect ratio lock matters

When you resize an image without maintaining its aspect ratio, it becomes stretched or squished. The aspect ratio lock automatically calculates the correct opposite dimension so your image always looks proportional.
