How the handwriting effect is created

This tool renders your text on an HTML5 canvas using cursive handwriting-style web fonts (Caveat, Patrick Hand, Indie Flower, and Dancing Script from Google Fonts). The canvas also draws horizontal lines and a left margin, mimicking a real lined notebook page. The result is exported as a PNG image directly from your browser — no uploads required.

Customisation options

• Font: Choose from four handwriting styles with different characters and line weights.
• Font size: Adjust from 16px to 48px to control how large the writing appears.
• Ink colour: Pick any colour for the writing — default is a dark navy pen look.
• Paper colour: Change the background from the default cream to any colour.
• Line colour: Customize the ruling line colour to match your paper style.
