How the invoice generator works
Fill in your business details, client details, and line items. The subtotal, tax, and total update automatically as you type. When you're ready, click "Download PDF" — the tool renders the invoice preview into a real PDF and downloads it to your device. No browser print dialog, no manual steps.
What you can customise
- Your business name, email, address, ABN, and company logo
- Client name, email, and address
- Invoice number, issue date, and due date
- Service date range (optional) — appears in the invoice header
- Additional text block between Bill To and line items
- Unlimited line items with description, quantity or hours, and unit rate
- Hours-based billing mode (relabels Qty to "Total Hours of Service")
- Item number column (optional)
- Tax or GST rate with label selector
- Notes — payment terms, bank details, thank-you messages
Privacy and data
No invoice data is ever sent to a server. Everything is processed locally in your browser using JavaScript. There are no accounts, no cookies for personal data, and no data retention. Use "Save Template" to keep your settings as a local JSON file that you can reload anytime.
